5.7.2 Creating memory objects
When you have created and registered your kernels, send the program data to the kernels.
- Package the
data in a memory object.
- Associate the memory object with the kernel.
These are the types of memory objects:
- Buffer objects
- Simple blocks of memory.
- Image objects
- These are structures specifically for representing 2D or 3D
images. These are opaque structures. This means that you cannot see the
implementation details of these structures.
