You can add configuration databases from other DS-5 sources into your installation of DS-5.
Prerequisites
An existing configuration database.
Procedure
Launch DS-5, and from the main menu, select Window > Preferences.
Expand the DS-5 configuration group.
Select Configuration Database.
Click Add... and in the
Add configuration database location dialog:
Give a Name for the
configuration database, for example,
MyConfigDB.
Click Browse and select the
database.
Click OK to close the dialog box.
If necessary, change the order of the database. DS-5 processes
the databases from top to bottom with the information in the lower databases
replacing information in the higher databases. For example, if you want to
produce a modified Cortex-A15 processor definition with different registers,
then those changes can be added to a new database that resides lower down in the
list.
Select the new database.
Click Up or Down as required.

Note:
DS-5 provides built-in databases containing a
default set of target configurations. You can enable or disable
built-in databases, but you cannot delete them.
Click Rebuild database....
Click OK to close the dialog box and
save
the settings.
After you have successfully added your configuration database, you can view
your platforms in the Debug Configuration dialog, under
the Manufacturer area you specified.
