3.3.24 write_table()

write_table(name, table_records)

Write specified records to a table.

Parameters

name
The name of the table to write to.
table_records

A dictionary in the form:

{ index : rowdata, …}

where:

index
is the value of the row index where rowdata is written.
rowdata
is the cells in dictionary form:
{ <col name> : <value>, ... }

The table record can have a subset of the cells in the row to which a write should take place.

This parameter has the same format as the return value of read_table().

Exceptions

ValueError
The table name does not exist.
