If you want to debug a running program, and your system is already booted but you don’t want to perform a reset or stop the target, you can perform the debug using the following method.
In the RealView ICE RVConfig dialog, click the required device name from within the tree diagram. For example, ARM926EJ-S.
In the Post Reset State drop-down menu, select 0 - RUNNING.

Select Save from the File menu.

In the eXDI Console dialog, click the Connect button.
