SCIDATA is the data register and is used for both transmitting
and receiving characters. The write data is transmitted through
nSCIDATAOUTEN. The read data is received through SCIDATAIN. Table 3.2 shows bit assignments
for SCIDATA.
Note
Software should write to this register only after setting
the MODE bit to 1. Writes to this register with the MODE but set
to 0 will be ignored by the hardware.
