4.2. Scan chain configurations

ETM10 is a full-scan design comprising the following configuration options:

6, 12, or 24 internal scan chains

Controlled by SCANMUX6 and SCANMUX12.

One or two wrapper scan chains

Controlled by WMUX2.

The ETM10 internal scan chain concatenations are shown in Table 4.1.

Note

The internal scan chains do not cross clock domains during 6, 12, or 24 scan chain modes.

For scan testing of the core, you must tie the SCANMUX12, SCANMUX6, and WMUX2 signals in one of the configurations listed in Table 4.2.
