10.4.18. Claim Tag Set Register

The DBGCLAIMSET characteristics are:


Used by software to set CLAIM bits to 1.

Usage constraints

Use in conjunction with the DBGCLAIMLR register. See Table 10.21.


The processor implements bits[7:0] as claim tags.

CLAIM bits. Writing a 1 to one of these bits sets the corresponding CLAIM bit to 1. A single write operation can set multiple bits to 1. Writing 0 to one of these bits has no effect.

You must use the DBGCLAIMCLR Register to:

  • Read the values of the CLAIM bits.

  • Clear a CLAIM bit to 0.

Implemented CLAIM bits are always RAO.
