2.1. About the ARM compilers
The ARM C and C++ compilers compile both ANSI C and the dialect
of C used by Berkeley UNIX. Wherever possible, the compilers adopt
widely used command-line options that are familiar to users of both
UNIX and Windows/MS-DOS.
In addition, the ARM C++ compilers compile C++ that conforms
to the ISO/IEC Draft Standard for C++ (December 1996). See C++ language feature support for a detailed
description of ARM C++ language support.
Note
The ARM C compilers are provided as standard with the Software
Development Toolkit. The ARM C++ compilers are available separately.
