To create a SoC Designer Debug Configuration when SoC Designer session is not currently running:
Select Connect to Target... from the Target menu to display the Connect to Target window.
Select Configuration from the Grouped By drop-down list.
Click Add for the SoC
Designer
Debug Interface. The Select SoC Designer Session
dialog box is displayed.
Click Launch a New SoC Designer Session. RealView Debugger launches SoC Designer Simulator.
Open your SoC Designer model in SoC Designer Simulator.

In the Select SoC Designer Session dialog box, click Scan. A list of the devices in your model is displayed.
Continue at the next step.
Click OK. The Select SoC
Designer Session dialog box closes, and the new Debug Configuration
