3.18.1. Problems with target-specific settings

If you have configured settings in the Advanced_Information block of a Debug Configuration, and those settings are not being applied to a target connection, then check the names of the Advanced_Information block groups in that Debug Configuration. Groups with names Default or All are used for all target connections in a Debug Configuration. To make sure that settings are applied to a specific target, you must create a target-specific group.

An Advanced_Information block group name must reflect the target to which you are connecting. For example, a block named ARM is used when you connect to any ARM architecture-based target. If you connect to a DSP, then the settings in the block are not used.
