2.2. Customizing a RealView ICE Debug Interface configuration

When you install the RealView ICE software, it adds configuration files to your RealView Debugger installation. The board file in your RealView Debugger home directory is updated so that a RealView ICE Debug Interface entry appears in the Connect to Target window. Figure 2.1 shows an example.

Note

The RealView ICE unit must be purchased separately.

A RealView ICE Debug Interface configuration is stored in a configuration file with the .rvc extension. When you create a RealView ICE Debug Configuration, RealView Debugger creates a corresponding.rvc file for that Debug Configuration. You can use this Debug Configuration as the basis for any new RealView ICE Debug Configurations that you create.
