2.1. Fitting the Interface Tile to a logic tile

The Interface Tile enables you to access peripherals implemented in a Logic Tile or Core Tile.

To use the Interface Tile with the Integrator/CP baseboard:

  1. Fit an Integrator/IM-LT1 module to the Integrator/CP baseboard.

  2. Fit one or more Logic Tiles to the IM-LT1 module.

  3. Fit the Interface Tile on top of the Logic Tile.

  4. Connect the cables for your peripheral to the Interface Tile connectors.

  5. Set the peripheral enable switches to enable the drivers that are being used.

Note

There are many other possible combinations of Interface Tile, Core Tile, Analyzer Tile, Versatile Logic Tile, and baseboards. Some tile configurations require specific FPGA images. See the ARM website at www.arm.com for more information on tile products.
