2.3.1. Using the Connection Control window

Select File → Connection → Connect to Target... from the Code window main menu to display the Connection Control window where you can connect to your debug target.

You can connect to a target in the following ways:

To connect to RVI-ME:

  1. Display the Connection Control window.

  2. Expand the top-level ARM-ARM-USB vehicle.

  3. Expand the second-level RVI-ME entry.

  4. Select the ARM7TDMI_0 processor connection.

RealView Debugger connects to the target using the default connection mode for that target, unless you choose the Connect (Defining Mode)... option. You can, however, specify the connection mode to use, see Setting connect mode.
