There are two types of project in RealView Debugger:
Projects that you create and set up.
Projects that RealView Debugger creates or uses automatically when you load an image directly.
The procedure for creating a user-defined project consists of three stages:
Use the Create New Project dialog box to set up the new project and define the project type. This stage is common to all types of user-defined project.
Use the project-specific dialog box to configure the settings for your new project.
Customize and build the project.
If you have modified and saved settings for an auto-project, then you can merge these settings into a new user-defined project during the second stage of the creation procedure.
If you do want to merge auto-project settings, ensure that you read the explanation in Merging auto-project settings into a project before you start to create the new project.
