The baseboard Boot Monitor is a collection of tools and utilities designed as an aid to developing applications on thebaseboard.
When the Boot Monitor starts on reset, the following actions are performed:
the memory controllers are initialized
a stack is set up in memory
Boot Monitor code is copied into DRAM
Boot memory remapping is reset
C library I/O routines are remapped and redirected depending on the settings of S6-2 and S6-3
if Boot Monitor configuration switch S6-1 is on, the current boot script, if any, is run.
The firmware must match the system configuration or the results might be unpredictable. Refer to the application note for your configuration for details of software or firmware that is specific to the combination of baseboard and tiles that your are using.
