4.3. Configuring the ETM parameters

The following sections describe how to configure the ETM parameters:

Trace data width
Trace port mode (ETMv1)
Trace port mode (ETMv3)
Trace buffer packing
FIFO overflow protection
Trace coproc register transfer
Extended external input selection (ETMv3.1 and later)
Memory map decode
Synchronization frequency (ETMv3)
Enable Timestamping
Cycle accurate tracing
Data only trace (Do not trace instructions) (ETMv3.1 and later)
Suppress data on FIFO full.

Note

Some of these settings might be grayed out, depending on your system design or current configuration, for example, packing modes determine what port widths are available.
