For normal operation, it is not necessary to open the ATX enclosure and change the baseboard configuration switch bank (S7) settings. The default setting is all switches OFF.
The location of the configuration switch bank (S7) on the baseboard is shown in Figure 3.1.

The switch settings determine at power up:
boot memory configuration
tile site clock frequency.
