4.2. Instrumentation parameters
This section describes the parameters used to activate instrumentation.
It contains the following sections:
Instrumentation is controlled by a number of parameters. Because
the parameters are not created during installation, you must add
them manually to enable Instrumentation output.
How you set these parameters depends on the OS you are using:
On Windows, use the standard Windows
regedit tool to create the parameters as registry keys. The keys
must have the DWORD type and a value of 1,
to enable the corresponding debugging operations.
On Linux, add the parameters as environment variables,
each with a value of 1, to enable the debugging
operations.
