Can I use my existing RealView Trace unit for hardware profiling using RealView Profiler?

Applies to: RealView Development Suite (RVDS), RealView ICE and Trace (RVI / RVT)

You need a new RealView Trace 2 unit for hardware profiling. An RVT unit will not work, and will produce the error message:

Connection to the streaming trace source failed with error: Tracestream not supported
