QUESTION

When I compile and link my project, I receive the following error message.

*** FATAL ERROR L210: I/O ERROR ON INPUT FILE:
EXCEPTION 0021H: PATH OR FILE NOT FOUND
    FILE: C:KEILC51LIBL51_BANK.OBJ

What's going on and how do I get rid of this problem?

ANSWER

If you are creating a code banking application...

L51_BANK.OBJ is the object file that is generated by the assembler from the L51_BANK.A51 object module. Make sure that you have properly configured the L51_BANK.A51 file and assembled it for your project. If you use uVision, make sure that L51_BANK.A51 is included in your project.

If you are NOT creating a code banking application...

Open the Project Options dialog in uVision and uncheck the Code Banking checkbox at the bottom left of the Target tab.
