When I set options for my C and Assembler files in uVision, I've noticed that the checkboxes can be Checked (black), Checked (grey), or Not Checked. What do these mean and why are there 3 different states?
uVision lets you set the options for a Target, for a Group, and for a File.
If you don't specifically set an option for a File, the option setting from the Group configuration is used.
If you don't specifically set an option for a Group, the option setting from the Target configuration is used.
In the Group and File configuration options, the check boxes mean the following:
