USING PROROM WITH UVISION2

QUESTION

How can I use ProROM together with uVision. The Options - ProROM EPROM Emulator dialog is not available in uVision V2 (like it was in uVision V1).

ANSWER

ProROM is no longer available and, therefore, is not directly supported in the Keil uVision IDE.

ProROM does not work on Windows NT or Windows 2000. However, you may use ProROM on Windows 98 or Windows 98.

In Windows 95/98 you may add the ProROM command line utility in the uVision tools menu. The configuration of the uVision tools menu is described in the uVision Getting Started User's Guide, Chapter 4, uVision Utilities under the section Using the Tools Menu.
