On a Windows NT 4.0 computer, uVision hangs on the splash screen display.
This problem may be caused by an improperly installed or a corrupted HTML Help System.
uVision uses HTML Help to display help on error messages and library functions. When uVision starts, the HTML Help handler get initilized. On some Windows NT installations, the HTML Help handler seems to be incorrectly installed.
You may simply reinstall the HTML Help viewer with the HHUPD.EXE file from Microsoft. This file may be found on the Keil CD ROM in the UTILITYHH_CHM folder. It may also be downloaded from the Microsoft Web Site at http://download.microsoft.com/download/c/c/8/cc8a7962-f72f-4358-a13d-326be29d3623/HHUPD.EXE.
