How do I print or save the contents of the serial window to a file?
The SLOG command logs the serial window contents to a file. For example:
slog > c:file.log
creates the file C:FILE.LOG as a log file. Input and output from the Serial window is written to this file.
slog >> c:file.log
opens an existing log file named C:FILE.LOG for appending log information. If the file does not exist, it is created. Input and output from the Serial window is appended to this file.
displays the status of the log file.
closes the log file.
For more information on this and other uVision Debug Commands, go to the Books tab in uVision. Double click on the Tools User's Guide folder, then double click on uVision Debug Commands. SLOG is listed under General Commands.
