QUESTION

Is there a way to use the Auto-Decrement and Auto-Toggle features of the Dallas 390, 400, or 5240 in my programs?

ANSWER

Yes. The Auto-Decrement and Auto-Toggle features of these devices improve the performance of memory accesses with the data pointer.

The library file C51DS2T.LIB found in the KEILC51LIB folder includes accelerated versions of the memcpy, memmove, memcmp, strcpy, and strcmp functions utilizing the Auto-Decrement and Auto-Toggle features. Include this library file in your project to use these performance-enhanced routines.
