I am working on a Cygnal C8051F021-based board. The Cygnal DLL and Keil uVision have been working fine on my old computer.
I recently switched computers and now I cannot connect to the board anymore. The error message I received is as follows:
The C8051F021 device selection does not match the hardware device C8051F021.
This problem occurs when the device name in the Device Database doesn't match the information in the Cygnal DLL. This can happen if you replace the Cygnal-provided device database (UV2.CDB) with the standard from Keil.
Copy the device database file supplied by Cygnal into the KEILUV2 folder.
Cygnal has changed the way devices are selected from their DLL and this problem no longer exists. You may download the latest Cygnal DLL from their web site.
