QUESTION

I have upgraded to PK51 Version 7.50. When I am using the LX51 with Linker Code Packing, I get memory space overlap warnings in the interrupt vector address space. Also, it appears that the code optimization is inefficient compared to the previous version.

*** WARNING L30: MEMORY SPACE OVERLAP

    TO: C:000005H

ANSWER

Yes. You are correct. There is a problem in the LX51 Linker/Locater Version 3.65. Use the LX51 Version 3.65a that is available as an attachment to this article.

This will be corrected in the next C51 release.
