QUESTION

We are using the RTX Kernel.  Which functions of the C Library are thread-safe?

ANSWER

In the RealView Compilation Tools — Compiler and Libraries Guide, The C and C++ Libraries — Writing reentrant and thread-safe code section contains detailed information about thread safety in the C libraries. It is possible to adapt mutex functions for RTX. Also covered is a list of library functions along with the attributes.
