QUESTION

Have the Keil CARM C Compiler and tools been removed from MDK-ARM V3.03a? I can't seem to find them?

ANSWER

Yes. As of Version 3.03a, the legacy Keil ARM tools are no longer included. The RealView compilation tools are included in the MDK-ARM kits. All users of the older Keil tools should plan to migrate their applications to compile under the RealView tools.

The CARM Assembly and C code is not directly compatible with MDK-ARM tools. Some syntax changes will be required.

Libraries built with CARM code will not work the MDK-ARM tools.
