What size memory accesses does Model Debugger use?

Applies to: Fast Models

Answer

Model Debugger's memory window is, by default, filled using the MAU (Minimum Addressable Unit) of the selected memory space.  For the CT models, the MAU is 1 byte. The access size can be increased by right-clicking on the memory window, and selecting "Increment MAU per cell".  Setting the access size can be useful for components that only supported certain access sizes, such as the PL310's internal registers.

You can see the current settings by right-clicking and selecting Memory Display Settings from the context menu.
