The encryption key is stored in the internal memory of the FPGA device. This memory is powered by the Logic Tile battery.
The encryption key could get erased due to any of the following reasons:
- Battery failure
- Removing the battery
- Entering a new encryption key
- Shorting across the battery pads
If the encryption key is erased, the Logic Tile should be sent to ARM UK for reprogramming the key. In this case, please fill the "Development Board Fault Report Form" to send the board to ARM UK for programming the key.
