Does PL330 support Byte transfers?

Answer

Yes, PL330 supports byte transfers. In fact, it will support transfers
ranging in width from 1 byte up to 128 bytes (src/dest_burst_size
parameter) in powers-of-two steps, i.e. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16,... bytes wide.
