Why am I getting "ERROR: RVI not connected. Configure RVI" in the eXDI console after successfully configuring RVI using USB?

Applies to: RealView ICE and Trace (RVI / RVT)


There is a conflict between RealView ICE (RVI) and the eXDI console that prevents the console from connecting via USB to RVI versions earlier than v3.3.  In order to connect to a RVI unit using USB, you will need to use RVI v3.3 or later.  To obtain a later version of RVI, you need to contact the ARM Orders department at or your local distributor.
