What values of HSIZE does the ARM946E-S use?

Applies to: ARM946E-S

Answer

HSIZE is used by the processor to indicate the size of the transfer. Most transfers will be WORD (b010); the only time that the core will issue BYTE (b000) or HALFWORD (b001) is if the core is executing a load/store byte/halfword instruction.
