Are there updates to older versions of TRMs or TRM Errata Lists?

Applies to: Processor Cores

Answer

Technical Reference Manuals (TRMs) are only maintained for the current revision of a processor.

The differences between TRM versions are explained in the current version of each TRM.

Actual functional changes between processor revisions are described in the Introduction, for example Cortex-M3 TRM ARM DDI 0337G section 1.7 "Product Revisions".

Documentation corrections and enhancements are listed in the documentation changes, for example Appendix B - "Revisions" in the above-mentioned TRM, and this could be used to identify which areas of the previous TRM were inaccurate or insufficiently clear, but there is no specific errata list for outdated TRM revisions.
