How do I find the version of a model component?

Applies to: Fast Models

Answer

Is it often necessary to check which version of a particular component is used in a compiled system. For virtual platforms this information is available via CADI.

Using Model Debugger

NOTE: If loading a model, you will be prompted to set parameter values for the model.
NOTE: More information on connecting to models can be found in the Model Debugger User Guide.

Model Debugger's component selection dialog

NOTE: For models of MPCore processors, there will be entries for the cluster (component instance) and each CPU within the cluster (cpu{n}).  All CPUs will report the same version information, so it is only necessary to connect to one CPU.

For this example, the version of the component is 6.0.43.
