In some circumstances, RVDS floating license checkouts might slow down intermittently due to the FLEXnet licensing mechanism searching for a DLL file called
IBFS32.DLL. The tips mentioned in the Knowledge Article Optimising license checkouts from a floating license server do not solve this problem.
IBFS32.DLL file is a standard Windows DLL file that some older versions of FLEXnet made use of. It is expected to be installed in the
IBFS32.DLL file can be found in the FLEXnet dongle drivers and some other Windows device drivers. If you encounter the above similar slow down problem, a workaround is to ensure that this DLL file is located at the
C:Windows\system32 directory. You should be able to obtain the DLL file by installing the Audio Codecs or High Definition Audio Codecs from http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads.
