After upgrading from uVision3 to uVision4, when I connect ULINKpro, Windows does not find a ULINKpro driver. Running the UninstallULINK.EXE and then the InstallULINK.EXE from C:\KEIL\ARM\ULINK\ folder does not help.

You must first manually uninstall the old ULINKpro driver from Windows, then reinstall. To do this:

  1. With ULINKpro connected to your PC, open the Windows Device Manager (right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, then click the Device Manager button), under Universal Serial Bus controllers, locate and uninstall the Keil ULINK Pro device.
  2. Disconnect the ULINKpro adapter from the PC.
  3. Run the InstallULINK.EXE located in the C:\KEIL\ARM\ULINK\ folder.
  4. Reconnect the ULINKpro adapter to the PC. The Found New Hardware Wizard should display. Click Next.
  5. If a hardware list displays, select c:\windows\inf\oem6n.inf, where n can be any number.
  6. Click Next to let the installer finish.
