I want to use ULINK2 (or ULINK-ME) to debug my Freescale Kinetis TWR-K40X256 (or TWR-K60X512) board and I have a 10-pin to 20-pin ribbon cable, but the 20-pin connector on the cable has a plastic plug inserted at pin 7, so it won't fit on the Freescale board's JTAG connector. How can I use this cable?
Some early 10-pin to 20-pin ULINK cables have plastic plugs installed at pin 7 on both the 10-pin and 20-pin ends. You may remove the plugs using a needle or the point of an XACTO knife. To do this:
