UV4.EXE IS NOT A VALID WIN32 APPLICATION

SYMPTOM

After upgrading to the latest version Windows 2000 displays an error when starting uVision4:

C:\KEIL\UV4\Uv4.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

CAUSE

The Windows version you use does not meet the minimum requirements for a current version of uVision4. Versions of Windows that are out of support by Microsoft do not get additional API functions added. The required function DecodePointer() is available in Windows XP Service Pack 2 and newer.

RESOLUTION

Use uVision4 on one of the following versions of Windows:
