Node Emulator fails to connect to the Device Server when started in TCP mode

Applies to: mbed Device Server

Answer

If the Node Emulator fails to connect to the Device Server when started in TCP mode, the reason is that, by default, the Device Server does not have TCP interface up and running.

For information on how to start the Device Server in TCP mode, see How to start Device Server to support CoAP over TCP.
