Section 2.8. MMCI Interrupts

Is there any need to connect the 2 interrupt outputs to our Interrupt Controller? Would it be fine to save one line or is there any crucial reason to use both interrupt outputs?

Two (programmable) interrupt outputs are provided for flexibility, but you can use only one if required - it is possible to source any status flag to both interrupt outputs. It is left to you to decide if you need 1 or 2 interrupts. However the policy we use for all our PrimeCells and recommend is that all the interrupts get routed through into one interrupt signal by the software driver.
