Debug Hardware Config IP (within RVDS it is known as 'RealView ICE Config IP') is a utility that you can use to change the network settings of your DSTREAM / RealView ICE (RVI) unit.
Debug Hardware Config IP uses UDP broadcast packets to detect which DSTREAM / RVI units are in the network. UDP packets are normally filtered by network routers, so you need to ensure that the DSTREAM / RVI unit is on the same subnet as the computer, otherwise Debug Hardware Config IP will fail to detect the unit.
If this doesn't fix the problem, you should try to configure the DSTREAM / RVI IP address by connecting it directly to the computer with a cross-over cable. For more information see the FAQ entry: How can I connect RealView ICE directly to my computer with an Ethernet cross-over cable?
If you cannot configure the DSTREAM / RVI unit with a cross-over cable, then the box may be faulty, and you should send it for repair.
