Can I install ADS and RVDS on the same machine?

Applies to: ARM Developer Suite (ADS), RealView Developer Kit (RVDK) for OKI, RealView Developer Kit (RVDK) for ST, RealView Development Suite (RVDS)

Although most users will install only one set of development tools, in some circumstances you may wish to have both ADS and/or multiple versions of RVDS (e.g., ADS 1.2 and RVDS 3.1 or RVDS 3.0 and RVDS 3.1) installed on the same machine.

ARM have produced an unsupported utility called "Suiteswitcher" which allows you to easily configure your PC to use the required development tools and which will carry out all necessary setup of environment variables.
