Can I run ETM7 validation using ARM7-S

The validation tests for ETM7 were written to run on an ARM7TDMI-Rev3 core. However, the testbench can be configured to allow validation tests to be run using an ARM7-S and ARM7TDMI in parallel.

In the file ETM7/verilog/val_core/ARM7_AND_ETM7.v you can select the option to use an ARM7-S core. Another available option is to configure the testbench so that the ARM7TDMI and ARM7-S run in parallel. This can be used to verify that the two processors are fully cycle accurate.
