What AXI response value should be given to a non-secure access to a secure address location?

Applies to: AXI

Answer

In an interconnect, if a non-secure transaction address is decoded as being destined for a secure peripheral then the access should be treated as if there were no slave at that address and hence should be given a DECERR response.
