QUESTION

How do I create a project in uVision to build a library file?

ANSWER

Follow these steps to easily create a library file in uVision from your source files.

  1. Create a new project using the name you want for the library file. For example, if the name you want to use is JUNK.LIB, give the project file the name JUNK.PRJ.
  2. Add the source files that comprise your library to the project.
  3. Use the Make... command in the Options menu to open the Make Options dialog box.
  4. From the After Compile list, select the Run LIB51/LIB251/LIB166 Librarian radio button. This uses the Library Manager to create a library file.
