Does the Keil C Compiler for the 8051 support floating-point numbers? Where can I get more information about floating point numbers?
I have been programming 8031 chips with PL/M-51 for a number of years. Apparently, the PL/M compiler does not support floating-point numbers. I needed to divide 1E6 by 3000, but could not.
Yes. The Keil C Compiler for the 8051 supports 32-bit, single-precision floating-point numbers.
