QUESTION

Is there any way to get the editor in uVision to recognise any extension other than .c for c style syntax highlighting?

ANSWER

Yes. uVision uses the file extension specified in the Make Options dialog box under the Extensions tab to determine which files are C files and which files should be colorized with syntax coloring. You may change the file extension there to see syntax coloring on C files with different file extensions. However, uVision only accepts one file extension.
