QUESTION

How do I view the errors and warnings when I compile my project?

ANSWER

In uVision, go to A51 Assembler or Compiler Options and under the listing tab make sure Generate .LST file is checked and the Warnings are set to Level 2. Then you should be able to see all the errors and Warnings generated by looking at the .LST file.

Also, when you compile, if you have any errors, an Error Window will pop up giving you the list of errors. When you double click on the error highlighted in red, it will take you to the line where the error is located, highlighted in green.
